A fighter can win by knocking her opponent unconscious. A fighter can win if her opponent submits, now remember each fighter is allowed one standing 8 count per round. So just because you see a fighter tap out, it doesn’t mean the competition is over. Next the fighter’s corner can throw in the towel, if her corner feels that their fighter is taking to much punishment. The referee can stop the fight if it looks like the fighter can’t protect herself from her opponent. And last but not least, the fighter can win if her opponent is disqualified.
